The new image is a picture of a little girls face. The girls emotion is very bland, and almost non-apparent The image is very large and it looks to be posted on the side of a big building. By the building there is construction workers, and the area it is in looks to be very run down and not very bright. The size affects the perspective because you would think the image had a deeper meaning when it was smaller because you cant see the surroundings, but really it was just a construction worker putting it up. I think the image is one consecutive picture, because from what I can see there is not a area where it is split up. I think the image is in an industrial area. I think this because normally there is a lot more color, and nature, in residential, urban, and, rural areas. Also, areas of industrialization always seem to be very bland, boring, and dirty. 1st semester reflection
I think this semester I could have done more to make my assignments more unique and complex. I think i could have put more effort into my photos and the thought Put into them. I think I also needed to work on my time management skills in this class. I think i could have put more effort into my work. Maybe y thinking more outside of the box, and not procrastinating, so I could get a good shot. I think when I do think of an idea i do fu fill that thought and i do go through with it. I think my participation was lacking this quarter, I think i could have talked more and put my opinion out more on others work. I think i can improve on uniqueness, and confidence in the class and my photos. I think I can improve on time management. For the next semester, I will try to improve on my effort and creativeness in the class and in my photos. I will try to also fix my time management skills.
I think your post was very good, had a hard time looking for the word "Atychiphobia". Really liked how you created yourself or whoever, as a dark figure throwing away your success in life and that you are scared of all of that going away.
ReplyDeleteI believe the photo is conveying the fear of failure, or the fear of not being good enough for the future. At first I wasn't sure what was happening in the photo but the words put it together for me and helped to bring the meaning of the fear out. The use of shadow and body language, was really good.
